PROGRAM OBJECTIVES:
To enable the Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marine Corps to participate in the development and implementation of "Joint Land Use Studies." The studies will be used to identify land use measures needed to ensure that further public and private development around a military installation is compatible with both the mission of the military installation and the plans of the jurisdiction(s) responsible for the land surrounding the installation. The grantee(s) or participating government(s) are expected to adopt and implement the study recommendations.
