PROGRAM OBJECTIVES:
To provide private nonprofit owners of eligible developments designed for the elderly with a grant to allow the conversion of some or all of the dwelling units in the project into Assisted Living Facilities (ALF's) serving frail elderly, as defined in Section 232(B)(6) of the National Housing Act.

 ELIGIBLE FUNCTIONAL CATEGORIES:
1. HOUSING;
- Homebuying, Homeownership;
- Cooperatives, Rental;

 WHO CAN BENEFIT FROM THIS PROGRAM:
- Individual/Family;
- Senior Citizen (60+);

 WHO CAN APPLY:
- Public non-profit institution/organization (includes institutions of higher education and hospitals);
- Other public institution/organization;
- Private non-profit institution/organization (includes institutions of higher education and hospitals);
- Other private institutions/organizations;
