PROGRAM OBJECTIVES:
To ensure that public accommodations and commercial facilities and State and local governments learn of the requirements of Titles II and III of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and acquire the knowledge needed to comply with these requirements.

 ELIGIBLE FUNCTIONAL CATEGORIES:
1. INCOME SECURITY AND SOCIAL SERVICES;
- Disabled and Handicapped Services;
- Training Assistance;

 WHO CAN BENEFIT FROM THIS PROGRAM:
- Private non-profit institution/organization;
- Quasi-public non-profit organization;
- Handicapped;
- Physically Afflicted (e.g. TB, Arthritis, Heart Disease);
- Mentally Disabled;

 WHO CAN APPLY:
- State (includes District of Columbia, public institutions of higher education and hospitals);
- Local (includes State-designated Indian Tribes, excludes institutions of higher education and hospitals);
- Public non-profit institution/organization (includes institutions of higher education and hospitals);
- Other public institution/organization;
