PROGRAM OBJECTIVES:
To conduct, encourage, and coordinate research
relating to corrections including the causes, prevention, diagnosis, and
treatment of criminal offenders. To conduct evaluation programs which
study the effectiveness of new approaches, techniques, systems,
programs, and devices employed to improve the corrections system.
