PROGRAM OBJECTIVES:
To foster development and maintenance of State programs which implement the Safe Drinking Water Act. EPA's funding priority is to award grants to those who meet the requirements in 40 CFR Part 142 (National Primary Drinking Water Regulations Implementation, http://www.epa.gov/docs/epacfr40/chapt-I.info/subch-D.htm). The amount of the award is based on an allotment formula using the criteria found under ASSISTANCE CONSIDERATIONS (100).

1. ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY;
- Water Pollution Control;
2. NATURAL RESOURCES;
- Community Water Supply Services;
