PROGRAM OBJECTIVES:
To establish a comprehensive and coordinated Federal waste site remediation program for the purpose of advancing the development and application of innovative remediation technologies that can be used to manage human health and environmental risk in response actions under the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act of 1980 (CERCLA).
