PROGRAM OBJECTIVES:
To enlist cooperation among the tribes, the southern, western, and midwestern States on the Waste Isolation Pilot Plant (WIPP) shipping corridors, and DOE in developing plans and procedures for the safe and uneventful transportation of transuranic waste from current temporary storage facilities to the WIPP.
