Capacity Building for Traditionally Underserved Populations
  


     PROGRAM OBJECTIVES:
    To enhance the capacity and increase the participation of historically Black colleges and universities, Hispanic serving institutions of higher education, and other institutions of higher education where minority enrollment is at least 50 percent, in competitions for grants, contracts, and cooperative agreements under the Rehabilitation Act, as amended.

     ELIGIBLE FUNCTIONAL CATEGORIES:
    1. EDUCATION;
    - Health Education and Training;
    - Resource Development and Support - General and Special Interest Organizations;
    - Resource Development and Support - Vocational Education and Handicapped Education;

     WHO CAN BENEFIT FROM THIS PROGRAM:
    - Public nonprofit institution/organization;
    - Other public institution/organization;
    - Individual/Family;
    - Minority group;
    - Specialized group (e.g. health professionals, students, veterans);
    - Private non-profit institution/organization;
    - Quasi-public non-profit organization;
    - Other private institution/organization;

     WHO CAN APPLY:
    - Public non-profit institution/organization (includes institutions of higher education and hospitals);
    - Other public institution/organization;
    - Minority Group;
    - Private non-profit institution/organization (includes institutions of higher education and hospitals);
    - Quasi-public non-profit institution/organization;
    - Other private institutions/organizations;
