PROGRAM OBJECTIVES:
To increase the number of researchers who are
members of minority groups that are underrepresented in the biomedical
sciences, MBRS gives grants to educational institutions with
substantial minority enrollments to support research by faculty
members, strengthen the institutions' biomedical research capabilities,
and provide opportunities for students and faculty development.
