PROGRAM OBJECTIVES:
To help public entities eligible under the Section 108 Loan Guarantee program carry out economic development projects authorized by Section 108(a) of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, as amended. Grant assistance must enhance the security of loans guaranteed under the Section 108 program or improve the viability of projects financed with loans guaranteed under the Section 108 program. In addition, this program will make competitive economic development grants in conjunction with Section 108 loan guarantees for qualified Brownfields projects.
