GOVERNMENT GRANTS AND LOANS
Cooperative Inspection Agreements with States and Tribes

    PROGRAM OBJECTIVES:
    To provide for the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) to enter into cooperative agreements with Tribes so that authorized Tribal inspectors can carry out inspection activities on Indian oil and gas leases within Tribal jurisdiction.

    ELIGIBLE FUNCTIONAL CATEGORIES:
    1. NATURAL RESOURCES;
    - Mineral Research;

    WHO CAN BENEFIT FROM THIS PROGRAM:
    - State;
    - Federally Recognized Indian Tribal Governments;

    WHO CAN APPLY:
    - Federal;
    - State (includes District of Columbia, public institutions of higher education and hospitals);
    - Federally Recognized Indian Tribal Governments;
