GOVERNMENT GRANTS AND LOANS
Cooperative Endangered Species Conservation Fund

    PROGRAM OBJECTIVES:
    To provide Federal financial assistance to any State or Territory (hereafter, "States"), through its appropriate State or territorial agency, to assist in the development of programs for the conservation of endangered and threatened species.

    ELIGIBLE FUNCTIONAL CATEGORIES:
    1. BUSINESS AND COMMERCE;
    - Commercial Fisheries;
    2. NATURAL RESOURCES;
    - Wildlife Research and Preservation;

    WHO CAN BENEFIT FROM THIS PROGRAM:
    - State;
    - U.S. Territories;

    WHO CAN APPLY:
    - State (includes District of Columbia, public institutions of higher education and hospitals);
    - U.S. Territories and possessions (includes institutions of higher education and hospitals);
