GOVERNMENT GRANTS AND LOANS
Capital and Training Assistance Program for Over-the-Road Bus Accessibility

    PROGRAM OBJECTIVES:
    To make funds available to private operators of over-the-road buses to finance the incremental capital and training costs of complying with requirements of the Department of Transportation's over-the-road bus accessibility rule, "Transportation for Individuals with Disabilities".

    ELIGIBLE FUNCTIONAL CATEGORIES:
    1. TRANSPORTATION;
    - Urban Mass Transit;
    - Highways, Public Roads, and Bridges;

    WHO CAN BENEFIT FROM THIS PROGRAM:
    - Anyone/general public;
    - Handicapped;

    WHO CAN APPLY:
    - Private non-profit institution/organization (includes institutions of higher education and hospitals);
    - Other private institutions/organizations;
