Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms_Training Assistance

    PROGRAM OBJECTIVES:
    To help the participant identify the laws relating to alcohol, tobacco, firearms and explosives, and provide training in specific investigative skills and techniques, and to help State, county, and local law enforcement officers improve their law enforcement capabilities in the organized crime area, including arson, undercover, firearms and explosives investigations.

    ELIGIBLE FUNCTIONAL CATEGORIES:
    1. EMPLOYMENT, LABOR, AND TRAINING;
    - Job Training, Employment;
    2. LAW, JUSTICE AND LEGAL SERVICES;
    - Law Enforcement - Research, Education, Training;

    WHO CAN BENEFIT FROM THIS PROGRAM:
    - State;
    - Local;

    WHO CAN APPLY:
    - State (includes District of Columbia, public institutions of higher education and hospitals);
    - Local (includes State-designated Indian Tribes, excludes institutions of higher education and hospitals);
