GOVERNMENT GRANTS AND LOANS
Veterans State Nursing Home Care

    PROGRAM OBJECTIVES:
    To provide financial assistance to States furnishing nursing home care to eligible veterans in State Veterans' Homes which meet the standards prescribed by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs.

    ELIGIBLE FUNCTIONAL CATEGORIES:
    1. HEALTH;
    - Veterans Health;

    WHO CAN BENEFIT FROM THIS PROGRAM:
    - Veteran/Service person/Reservist (including dependents);
    - Handicapped;
    - Physically Afflicted (e.g. TB, Arthritis, Heart Disease);

    WHO CAN APPLY:
    - State (includes District of Columbia, public institutions of higher education and hospitals);
