PROGRAM OBJECTIVES:
To provide supplemental assistance to States, local governments, and political subdivisions to the State, Indian Tribes, Alaskan Native Villages, and certain Private Non-profit organizations in alleviating suffering and hardship resulting from major disasters or emergencies declared by the President.
