Comprehensive Regional Assistance Centers

    PROGRAM OBJECTIVES:
    To help coordinate and integrate the implementation of Elementary and Secondary Education Act and other Federal education programs with State and local activities in ways that support Federal, State, and local efforts to improve teaching and learning and increase the academic achievement of all children.

    ELIGIBLE FUNCTIONAL CATEGORIES:
    1. EDUCATION;
    - Resource Development and Support - General and Special Interest Organizations;
    - Resource Development and Support - Elementary, Secondary Education;
    - Resource Development and Support - Sciences;

    WHO CAN BENEFIT FROM THIS PROGRAM:
    - State;
    - Local;
    - Sponsored Organization;
    - Public nonprofit institution/organization;
    - Other public institution/organization;
    - Specialized group (e.g. health professionals, students, veterans);
    - Private non-profit institution/organization;

    WHO CAN APPLY:
    - State (includes District of Columbia, public institutions of higher education and hospitals);
    - Local (includes State-designated Indian Tribes, excludes institutions of higher education and hospitals);
    - Public non-profit institution/organization (includes institutions of higher education and hospitals);
    - Other public institution/organization;
    - Private non-profit institution/organization (includes institutions of higher education and hospitals);
