Grants for State Loan Repayment

    PROGRAM OBJECTIVES:
    To increase the availability of primary care in health professional shortage areas (HPSAs) by assisting States in operating programs for the repayment of educational loans of health professionals in return for their practice in HPSAs.

    ELIGIBLE FUNCTIONAL CATEGORIES:
    1. HEALTH;
    - Health Services Planning and Technical Assistance;

    WHO CAN BENEFIT FROM THIS PROGRAM:
    - State;
    - Health Professional;
    - Graduate Student;

    WHO CAN APPLY:
    - State (includes District of Columbia, public institutions of higher education and hospitals);
